For those who can face winter only because they know spring is on the way, The Master Gardeners of Door County will present the first of their 2018 Gardening Education Lecture Series: “What’s New in 2018” on Tuesday, January 9 at 7:00. Even though gardens are buried in snow and ice, now is the time for gardeners to start thinking about the growing season. Speaker Kori Zawojski, co-owner of Sunnypoint Gardens & Gift, shop will share information about trends in gardens. This program is free and open to the public.
Crossroads at Big Creek is a donor supported learning facility made up of The Cove, Big Creek and Ida Bay Preserves. The Collins Learning Center, located at 2041 Michigan just east of the roundabout in Sturgeon Bay. All trails are free and open to the public. Trails at the Big Creek Preserve are groomed and the parking lot is cleared.
