Old Business


Ski Program in Storage Building Project update:  no room to safely have ski/snowshoes lending station in new storage building.  Gretchen will meet with building and grounds to find a place for the program, will advocate for a good space for the lendng program.  All agreed that this program is a vital part of our mission.


Officers Update:  It is possible that this will be solved with a new meeting day/time of month.  Gretchen will share outcome of survey at the next meeting.


Running Green for Crossroads Update:  plans are moving along.  Peninsula Pulse ran last years poster, had computer problem.  Will print new ad to correct it, this week, at no cost.


Walk When the Moon is Full Family Night:  Friday June 13, 7:30 meet at council ring, after activity there, walk up the Stonecipher Center to watch full moon rise.  Jim will put rock in the ring to raise grate for better fire.

Flowering plants around CLC:  on hold

Crossroads Brochure:  Brian and Joan presented rough draft of brochure.  Running Green photo and Friends logo will be added.  Will look again at June meeting to give final OK for printing.

Volunteer Needs for May/ June: Dean Volenbergwith Payton’s help willtrain for invasive species removal


Earth Day at Sunrise for May 29 [Joan, Brian, Maddie, Diane, Nancy, Gretchen, Coggin]


Oct 8 Astronomy Day:  Lunar Eclipse


IDA Bay property:  Needs for removal of fencing, trail prep—on hold


Door Prize:  Ray Stoncipher won a cherry roasted garlic dipping oil
